Types of payments accepted are Cash and Credit Cards.
Payment is due in advance or at the start of each session.
*ZUMAYA recommends a minimum of 65-minute sessions as compared to traditional 50-minute sessions because it allows more time to process and to practice skills that target the mind and body for an integrated approach to mental health recovery.
We accept health insurance:
Aetna, Anthem, Oxford, Oscar, UBH, UMR, Humana, Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans
Most health insurance providers will cover annual mental health wellness exams, individual telehealth, outdoor and group session at the traditional time of 45-50 minutes. Health insurance does not cover intensive therapy or our customized wellness packages. To confirm your plans behavioral health benefits, please contact your insurance provider directly.
We apologize if we are not an “in network” provider with your health insurance. In this case, your option is to pay out of pocket rates and ask your health insurance to reimburse you for the service. Zumaya may be considered an “out of network” provider, which means that your health insurance company may reimburse you directly for a portion of your out-of-pocket costs. Please inquire directly with your health insurance company for details.
For self-pay clients, we are available for longer or customized times per session. Please inquire.
We reserve the right to charge the full fee amount per session of any no-show appointments or cancellations within 48 hours of your set appointment time.
Mental health services are in high demand. Please be considerate of your fellow human and cancel your appointment within 48 hours so that the appointment time can be taken by someone in need.
Payment in full is due prior to or at the start of every session. No refunds will be provided.
